Is it possible to dimension across views in SolidWorks?

I have this old print that I'm converting to English and updating. In one of the views, there are a couple sections that show fillet details and dimension across to the main view to show location. This is very practical and I'm wondering if this is possible in SolidWorks. So far, I haven't been able to figure out an easy method, or if I have to add sketch entities to dimension to (not preferred).
