Catia is More Professional for the Industrial Design
Solidworks professional is good for industrial designing and visualization.
I think the best part designing software is SolidWorks
Catia is what i prefer but solidworks is also a good option
Solidworks is very user friendy for Industrial design, product design etc...
Catia is more powerfull, and its used for automotive industry, plane industry where you need hard calculation and simulation...
And if you need this software for rendering, Solidworks doing better render than Catia, and solidworks have new software "Solidworks Visualize" amazing tool for rendering, and you have too addin from AMD for rendering in solidworks
I think you have to try KEYSHOT, easy fast and nice environment.
even you can download new materials from the keyshot website they keep updating their library.
Solidworks or Catia.
