Solidworks version

Hi guys, i'm new, i wanted to ask something. I want to start publishing some models once i learn how to properly use solidworks. Speaking of which, a friend of mine has a dirty copy of the software i was wondering if i can use his copy when im at his place to post some models here, is that a problem?

Accepted answer

Using a pirated or unauthorized copy of SolidWorks or any software is illegal and against ethical guidelines. It is important to respect intellectual property rights and abide by software licensing agreements. I would strongly advise against using a pirated copy of SolidWorks or any other software.

To start publishing models, I recommend acquiring a legitimate license of SolidWorks for personal or educational use. SolidWorks offers various licensing options, including student versions and trial versions, which you can explore to access the software legally and learn how to use it properly.

By using a legal and authorized copy, you ensure compliance with the software's terms and conditions and support the developers who have put in significant effort to create and maintain the software.
