Started working at Len's workshop as a lad some of my best year's ,he was a great teacher old school as he was in the REME. (Royal electrical mechanical engineer's cor).It was here that I gained a great deal of knowledge that I have built on as I have got older,
The dates I worked there are approx , I was actually a kid ,I started in my early teens at the garage. But I started on my engineering career very early as a very young boy watching those around me , my dad was an engineer , my mum's brothers were also engineer's and my grandfather ( mother's side ) was a copper smith. I used to watch him make pots pans etc. As a passing note I have been married to Len's daughter since 1977 ...........

I started work at a company but became ill shortly after I am now disabled but both of my sons have their own businesses so I do some design work for them now and then as there is no time constraint's. I can work on them between my bad times. It keep's the grey mater between my ears working.............

I started as a fabricating welder , fitter. As a company we manufactured mechanical handling systems usually for bakerys but we did do some other types of work and I was lucky it all just clicked into place the skills I used as a mechanic helped me see things clearer so I progressed in the company untill in about 2004 we had to close

I put my self through an evening class for AutoCad
and gained a City & Guilds I continued with the evening classes and
I have gained 4 City & Guilds in Autocad 1 being an Advanced course
I also have a City & Guilds for electrical PAT testing
