Can I performe a swept cut with solid bodies in SW?

Here is the tutorial.

  1. Step 1:

    Start SolidWorks.

  2. Step 2:

    Select Top Plane and Sketch.

  3. Step 3:

    Make a Rectangle.

  4. Step 4:

    Extrude it.

  5. Step 5:

    Click OK.

  6. Step 6:

    Select Top face of the box and then Sketch.

  7. Step 7:

    Choose Normal to.

  8. Step 8:

    Draw a spline.

  9. Step 9:

    Exit the sketch.

  10. Step 10:

    Select the right face and then sketch.

  11. Step 11:

    Normal to.

  12. Step 12:

    Draw a circle.

  13. Step 13:

    Isometric view and some zoom to the circle. (Don't exit sketch)

  14. Step 14:

    Choose the center point of the circle and the spline. Then choose pierce under property.

  15. Step 15:

    The circle will move to the end point of the spline.

  16. Step 16:

    Exit the sketch and choose swept cut option in Feature tab.

  17. Step 17:

    Choose profile.

  18. Step 18:

    Select the circle as the profile.

  19. Step 19:

    Choose spline as the path and click ok.

  20. Step 20:

    You are most probably done.
