Help with Chris Shakal's Turbofan Blade

Hi stephen, thanks so much for your help, I haven't yet downloaded your file i wanted to try it myself, I used your suggestion to use the feature 'boundary surface' in the surfaces tab, in the first dialog box I selected each spline section across the length of the blade, then in the second dialog box (i think its the box saying direction 2) i selected the two splines connecting all endpoints of the sections (there are two of these long splines on either side of the blade) and OK'ed everything and VIOLA! THANKS TO YOU STEPHEN!!! :-)

1. Step 1:

   With the wireframe of the blade sections and splines up, you will want to yield the blade and shape it, in CATIA you would you the multi-surface section tool but in SW2012 the tool to use would be under the 'Surface' tab.

   Providing you've got the splines connected and a general wireframe shape of the blade go to 'Surface' tools
   

   

2. Step 2:

   Select 'Boundary Surface'

3. Step 3:

   In Direction 1 to the LHS of the work tab - select the section splines of the blade

4. Step 4:

   In Direction 2 - select the two spline sections of the blade (these are the splines that previously connected all individual endpoints of the sections spanning the length of the blade)

5. Step 5:

   Once Direction 1 and 2 are filled in - Select OK & Voila!
