How does one make a rounded type bend using solidworks Sheetmetal tools?

You can do it this way but it will not produce a flat pattern:

1. Step 1:

   1.draw a circle with the desired diameter and create a base flange.
   

   

2. Step 2:

   2. Make an edge flange with the desired radius
   

   

3. Step 3:

   3. Cut the top surface with a normal cut.
   

   

4. Step 4:

   4. draw a profile for the cut and make a normal cut on both sides.
   

   

5. Step 5:

   Make a circpattern of the cut.
