How to Converting Surfaces to Solids in the Solidworks

This is what you will learn in this video lesson.
To make the conversion from surface to solid, just leave the Surfaces tab enabled. Then click on Thicken.
Now just click on the surface you want to convert to solid, and click create solid from enclosed volume, and click ok.
This will turn your surface into a solid, and now it will have volume and mass, which previously did not exist as a surface.
