How to design the rope in SolidWorks ?

I'm not that expert, But here is a solution by me. Hope this helps.

1. Step 1:

   Start SolidWorks in Part mode.
   

   

2. Step 2:

   Front plane>>Sketch. Draw four circles in each quadrant tangent to horizontal and vertical axis and trim the inner segments towards the origin.
   

   

3. Step 3:

   Extrude it by considerable length.
   

   

4. Step 4:

   Insert>>Feature>>flex.
   

   

5. Step 5:

   Choose the extrude body as flex input and choose twisting type flex.
   

   

6. Step 6:

   Enter an angle value of 720 or whatever satisfies. Click OK.
   

   

7. Step 7:

   Now we have the body of straight rope.
   

   

8. Step 8:

   Again Insert>>features>>flex.
   

   

9. Step 9:

   Select the rope body as flex input and change the flex type to bending and enter a radius value of 50mm or whatever.
   

   

10. Step 10:

    Click OK and we have the rope created.
    

    

11. Step 11:

    In assembly it will be like this.
