To Set up Ref Views ..Follow the tutorial ..remember that these images will not be rendered and only for reference

  1. Step 1:

Go To View Tab In the Part Module

  2. Step 2:

Now In the View Tab ,Click on Model Display and select Images Option

  3. Step 3:

In the View Tab ,Click on Add button and Select desired plane (if u r Inserting a Right View of The car ,select Right view )

  4. Step 4:

As Soon as You click on the plane a dialog box allows you to select images ,browse through and find your image

  5. Step 5:

After inserting your image .. Go to the respected View (in this case ,Select Right View from the set of std available views )

  6. Step 6:

After inserting its time to fit the image as per the dimension, click fit for doing it

  7. Step 7:

Select two points and give the required value as shown ....you can also give vertical and horizontal values separately

  8. Step 8:

Now move the view Manually to a location such that horizontal and vertical reference lines in the image coincide with the other two planes as shown

  9. Step 9:

Repeat The same Procedure for all other views ..For Modeling one ..we Need at least Four views (top,Right,Front,Back)...after setting up all the views you would have something like that (i have drawn rectangular sketches for all the views to fit the views inside .. This makes it easy for Drawing curves )

  10. Step 10:

after doing this ..you can now draw your car
