Tutorial how to make engine part 11

For kandarp, here is the picture of the cylinder cuts for the sleeve. What I've done is to go back to before the water sleeve is added and redrawn the 100 and 110 mm circles. That is the profile that we need to extrude after the water canal has been added.

  1. Step 1:

Here is the picture of a single cylinder before the linear command and water canal has been applied. I've done this to show where the profile for cutting the water canal comes from.

  2. Step 2:

Here we can see that the water canal is bisecting the gap around the sleeve. We need to remove that, by opening a drawing on the face of the cylinder. Then drawing the circles that we can trim to use as templates for the cut extrude. One @ 100mm and one @ 110, and two circles at 24mm tangent to the smaller circle. 22.707 mm from the center (left or right) of the two circles, and 57.692 mm up.

  3. Step 3:

Here I've drawn the 4 circles needed for the extrusion, before the trim has been applied.

  4. Step 4:

Here is what it should look like after the trim has been applied.

  5. Step 5:

and here is the sleeve with the extruded cut. Hope this helps you out.
