Tutorial - Modeling cylinder head fins in SolidWorks?

Here is the tutorial.

1. Step 1:

   Top plane>>Sketch.
   

   

2. Step 2:

   Draw a square.
   

   

3. Step 3:

   Extrude it by draft outwards.
   

   

4. Step 4:

   Fillet the edges.
   

   

5. Step 5:

   Top plane>>Sketch.
   

   

6. Step 6:

   Convert the bottom face.
   

   

7. Step 7:

   Offset the edge. Delete the converted edge or make it construction.
   

   

8. Step 8:

   Top face>>Sketch.
   

   

9. Step 9:

   Convert the face.
   

   

10. Step 10:

    Offset the edge while making base construction.
    

    

11. Step 11:

    Lofted surface.
    

    

12. Step 12:

    Lofted surface between the sketches.
    

    

13. Step 13:

    Hide the surface.
    

    

14. Step 14:

    Right plane>>Sketch.
    

    

15. Step 15:

    Draw a line.
    

    

16. Step 16:

    Linear pattern it.
    

    

17. Step 17:

    Extrude surface it in both direction.
    

    

18. Step 18:

    While selecting surface-loft1 click trim surface.
    

    

19. Step 19:

    Now using surface loft as trimming tool trim away the outer surfaces.
    

    

20. Step 20:

    Thicken.
    

    

21. Step 21:

    Thicken the surface.
    

    

22. Step 22:

    Repeat the same step for other edges.
    

    

23. Step 23:

    Fillet all faces.
    

    

24. Step 24:

    We have the fins created.
