Tutorials featuring RealView, in SolidWorks 2015

Currently working on a surface pro 2 in Solidworks 2016, I remember seeing realview working on a Surface pro 1 before release (Solidworks was boasting working with Microsoft on optimization on the device at the time). The pro 2 I'm using has an Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4300U CPU @ 1.90GHz with an integrated Intel HD Graphics 4400 (GT2) GPU.

  1. Step 1:

    The pro 2 I'm using has an Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4300U CPU @ 1.90GHz with an integrated Intel HD Graphics 4400 (GT2) GPU.

  2. Step 2:

    Ive found:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\SolidWorks\SOLIDWORKS 2016\Performance\Graphics\Hardware\Intel\Intel(R) HD Graphics Family

in reg edit and 2 sub keys underneath, but have had no luck fiddling with the reg keys.

  3. Step 3:

Anyone have any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

I also tried adding a new reg key for: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4400

This is a great little presentation device, the graphics are far more powerful that the previous card i was using which ran realview fine, so I know it's not lacking there.

    Thanks, Alan
