After installing this extension, we transform the open file (chair) into stl format. This is where we will open it in solidworks. save the file in stl, we will open solidworks to transform into solidworks file, for that we have to change down to stl format, and then click on options, done that we will choose the surface body option, we click ok and ok again.

   there you will also find my mechatronics engineering tcc that i did in 2013. this tcc which was a 3d printer, has all the parts drawn in the inventor's format. It also has a general assembly file in step format. This way you can open it in any software, including solidworks.
