Responsibilities
• Creating 3d model based on customer 2d drawing using Auto Cad, ProE, Unigraphics and Solid Works.
• TONNAGE CALCULACTION: CASTING PROJECTED, CASTING WEIGHT and distance between canter of gravity of machine center and component centre is calculated on Pro-E software
• Using Die Tech THUMB RULES method calculated on machine locking force, machine tonnage, gate area, fill ratio and yield ratio
• Layout finalization based on feeding feasibility and DIE balancing using TIE BAR calculation of PQ2
• Fist going to set a orientation based on cores.
• Choose proper FEEDING system and Identify TYPEGATE FEEDING system (Edge gate, Face gate, Spoon gate, Ring gate and Angle gate)
• Design a runner based on parting line area using DiediFice, solid works and pro-E software.
• Flow analysis is carried out to ensure the PROPER FILLING, check indentify EVENENTRY surface defect, cold Shut, gas porosity & shrinkage porosity, solidification, over flows and venting calculation is carried out based on gas porosity result using FLOW 3D
• Based on flow simulation we are identify OVERFLOW area and again run flow simulation finally identify CHILL PATH.
• Analyze the casting defects in existing dies and resolve through design changes
• Approved final runner design we are close the CHICKLIST
• Finally take RUNNER GATE AREA SECTION are taken by using AUTOCAD.
• Development and review of DFMEA
• Conducting CFT (Cross Function Team) meeting for repeated projects
• Final runner is move to die design
• RM and FINAL (FINISH) BOM is preparing and use to ORDERING different places
• Proving die updating based on customer requirement.
• Based on customer requirement casting updation was updated on HOUSING and INSERT (FD&MD)
• Create a INSERT Finish drawing and prepare the DIEFILE
