Personally I work sheet metal in my designs and one of the most frequent materials is aluminum, alloy 5052 has properties suitable for bending, if you use alloys such as 6061 it usually happens that it fractures in the middle of the bending process. Therefore 5052 is my recommendation.

i don't know if it helps or not but based on aluminium alloy, you may use annealing process or maybe it won't be needed. research on your alloy and it's hardness and also its production methods.

Possible or not It depends on aluminium thickness and bending depth.
In case of small pipe bending, You need a roll bending tool to obtain smooth bending radius performed in cold condition.
It depends on the thickness and the stiffness of the alloy you are using, you can look for the alloys and their applications
