Tutorial - Using cut with surface feature in SolidWorks?
Here is the tutorial.

Step 1:
Start SolidWorks in Part mode.

Step 2:
Front plane>>Sketch.

Step 3:
Make a rectangle of these dimension.

Step 4:
Extrude it by 50mm.

Step 5:
Now we have an extruded body.

Step 6:
Under features tab choose reference geometry>>plane.

Step 7:
Choose the front face of the box.

Step 8:
Rotate the box and choose the back box too.
-
Step 9:
The plane is created in the middle of the box.

Step 10:
Choose Front plane>>Sketch.

Step 11:
Standard views>>normal to.

Step 12:
Draw a arc of 60mm with endpoint vertical to the edges of the box and horizontal to each other and same time the 3rd point at the origin.

Step 13:
Exit the sketch.

Step 14:
Choose front face of the box.

Step 15:
Choose convert entities in the sketch tab.

Step 16:
Select the Sketch1 or arc. Click OK and again OK.

Step 17:
Exit the Sketch.

Step 18:
Choose Plane1>>Sketch.

Step 19:
Choose Normal View then use offset in sketch tab and select the arc.

Step 20:
Keep the default setting and exit the sketch.

Step 21:
Under surfaces tab choose lofted surface.

Step 22:
Select the arc from the upper end points 1 by 1. Click OK and the lofted surface is generated.

Step 23:
Choose cut with surface in surfaces tab.
-
Step 24:
choose lofted surface and let the direction be upper.

Step 25:
Click OK and we have the cut feature generated.

Step 26:
Choose the lofted surface and hide it.
