How to Pattern a Roller Chain Along a Path in Fusion 360

#Fusion360 #Fusion360Tutorial #AutodeskFusion360 Buy Chain: https://amzn.to/3f2FZEl In this series, we will design and develop a tracked, tank-like mobile robot optimized for use on sand and in desert environments. The modeling of the treads, custom sprocket, idler rollers and 3D printed suspension system will be shown in great detail. We will first create the chain links themselves and the tread pieces, then pattern them along the shape of the loop. Once we finish this, we will create the custom sprocket and motor connection followed by the idler spindle and finally the suspension system. In the end, we can mirror our entire assembly to the other side to create the right side tread. Working on only one side at a time makes it easier on our computers and allows us to work faster with less lag-time.

How to use Copy with Mates Feature within SolidWorks?

2 0 Beginner
I have to assemble 8 nuts in one of my assemblies. Generally, I would bring 8 nuts into my model separately and assign mates to each one of them. I don't have too much time left before the project deadline. So, I looked up the solution online. Then I found this amazing feature called "copy with mates". So, I thought I would write a bit about that feature in the form of a tutorial.

When I make a simplified part out of an assembly, the original .iam = 5mb. Why would the resulting .ipt be 9gb?

Hi Dan, The simplify command as you can watch on the following video links creates a new view under the folder "Representations" on the assembly history tree... Link-1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rA68Q07UDes Link-2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3B-bHEpeILQ Major purpose of this process is to share the least of the information with your clients, suppliers or partners... by Including only the essential components, defining envelops, etc. On the same "Representation" folder you can actually find another two categories the "Position" and the "Level of Detail". What you really need is to change the Level of Detail... Check Below --->

Currently I dont know if you are making a animation or kinematic movement. Another question for you, is are they all the components? or they are missing some components. whatever comments or suggestions just let me know. Have a good day,
