Your method of creating part from image is really nice. But the problem is , license for those workbench. in companies we have only limited workbech.
Instead of doing this many steps. i have simply solution for that.
Step-1:Just insert image to drawing
Step -2: draw over the image using splines or other commands.
Step-3: just copy the whatever you drawn in drawing workbench
step-4: paste into partdesign work bench in sketcher mode.
step-5:then simply pad it. i will get the shape.
why do we do sketch trace in CATIA ?
